Dual Pixel Intelligent AF

8K 60p RAW video

Eye-control AF
New for the EOS R5 Mark II, Eye-control AF is now more precise and reliable. It can accurately determine where you are looking and move the active AF point accordingly. Work intuitively, and keep your attention firmly on the subject.
High ISO sensitivity transforms low-light work
A max ISO 51,200 sensitivity (extendable to 102,400) is supported by in-camera neural network noise reduction, for cleaner, more-detailed jpeg images.
Customisable continuous shooting up to 30fps
Adjust the EOS R5 Mark II’s continuous shooting speed in fine increments, capturing 45-megapixel images up to 30 times every second – a combination of speed and resolution that reveals the subtleties of movement in quickly changing scenes.
The smartest Canon autofocus yet
EOS R5 Mark II’s Dual Pixel Intelligent AF sets new standards. Sharp focus is maintained on moving subjects, even when briefly obscured from view. Action Priority mode detects players in football, basketball and volleyball, moving the active AF point in response to specific actions – such as a shot on goal made from a high-speed pass

The EOS R5 Mark II’s refined 8.5-stop in-body Image Stabilizer effectively smooths out any unintentional camera movement when working handheld. Create footage so smooth you’d think it was shot using a gimbal or dolly.
Grab more than just a frame
Designed for professional hybrid shooters covering events. With the EOS R5 Mark II’s Dual Shooting function switched on, a press of the shutter-release button while shooting Full HD video captures 7680×4320 (8K) JPG photos at up to 7.5fps using the same shutter speed – all without interrupting video capture.
Shoot for longer
Shoot 8K 30p video for up to four times longer, thanks to the cooling function build in to the optional Cooling Fan CF-R20EP grip.
