The new macro solution for the Leica M (Typ 240)

The Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90mm f/4 and the Macro-Adapter-M together provide a practical solution for close-up photography, especially when using the live view function on the Leica M (Typ 240).

The adapter is designed to be mounted between the camera and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90mm f/4. Its integrated helical screw system allows for variable extension of the lens, ranging from 18 to 30mm, enabling the adjustment of the reproduction ratio.

When attached to the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90mm f/4 can also be used in its collapsed position for shooting at infinity. Thanks to a new locking mechanism, photographers can set any distance between 41 cm (reproduction ratio 1:2) and infinity without needing to remove the adapter.
