Nanlite introduces the Evoke 2400B
Nanlux is a consistent leader in innovation and improvement in the field of motion picture LED lighting. Now, they are focusing our efforts even further by combining the ultra-high output of a 4KW HMI or a 10KW Tungsten and adding a Green-Magenta adjustment throughout the CCT range.
Assembled with robust IP55 weather resistant housings that for both light head and power supply, the form factor is much lighter than the same output models.
Unprecedented illumination output
With a rated power of only 2400W, the Evoke 2400B delivers outstanding efficiency as an LED, resulting in powerful light output beyond the 4KW HMI or 10KW Tungsten.
Compared to traditional light sources, the Evoke 2400B’s distinct advantages include no preheating or cool-down time delay, flicker-free, 0.0%-100.0% dimming and adjustable color temperature allowing for greater flexibility, making lighting setups easier and more efficient.
Making changes during shooting sessions is now effortless and time-saving.
G/M±80, through cold to warm
Traditional bi-color LED lights create the desired color temperature by blending two chip arrays, often resulting in a slight magenta tint in mid-range temperatures and a greenish tint at the extremes. To address this, Nanlux’s Evoke 2400B includes a green-magenta adjustment feature, ensuring consistent color accuracy along the Planck curve and eliminating the need for corrective gels.
True-to-life color rendition
The Nanlux team has refined the color reproduction capabilities of the Evoke 2400B in terms of color rendering, fidelity and saturation, to ensure that it will provide outstanding performance for the most technically demanding productions.
IP55 Rating
The Evoke 2400B maintains the rugged metal design of the Evoke series with an IP55 rating for both the lamp head and power supply. Featuring magnesium alloy for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio and structural enhancements, it’s lighter than other lights of similar power.
Despite doubling the power of the Evoke 1200B, the 2400B’s power supply adds just 1kg, making it a robust, versatile choice for various production setups.
Complete and user-friendly controls
The fixture features a 3.5-inch LCD screen, four buttons, and three knobs for a simple, intuitive interface. A quick press of the knob toggles brightness between 0.0% and the set dimming level, while 0.1% increments allow users to smoothly adjust brightness from 0.0% to 100.0%.
More comprehensive wired and wireless control methods are available for various demand in different production scenarios: On-Board, Remote Controller, NANLINK APP, DMX/RDM, Art-Net/sACN, LumenRadio CRMX, Wired Controller.
Intelligent and quiet heat dissipation
The Evoke 2400B features a new adjustable cooling system with four fan modes—SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED, and OFF—tailored to meet different filming and audio needs.
Designed for optimal heat dissipation and noise reduction, this system eliminates distracting fan noise, ideal for interviews and other sound-sensitive productions.
Numerous and versatile modifier choices, intelligent modifier recognition
The Evoke 2400B’s updated NL mount with electronic contacts is fully compatible with existing NL mount softboxes and accessories.
These contacts enable modifier recognition, allowing the Evoke 2400B to identify the attached modifier.
This feature enhances safety, protecting both the fixture and accessories from potential heat damage.
