The Peli™ 1564 Waterproof Flightcase meets the highest quality standards and features, among other things, a neoprene O-ring to make it dust- and (sea)-proof.
In addition, the case floats and is pressure-resistant. The use of a special, automatic pressure valve keeps moisture and dust out but allows air to circulate freely to prevent the case from vacuum sucking and not wanting to open.
The convenient two-step latches make it easy to close the Peli™ case, and the large, rubberized, fold-down side handles allow you to pick up the case safely and securely.
By getting creative with the loose padded dividers of the divider system, you can easily customize the interior of the suitcase to your liking. The contents stay in place while getting extra protection.
Rock solid polypropylene copolymer
A Peli™ 1564 case is rock solid. The case is made of polypropylene copolymer and this material is very strong and flexible and has extreme shock resistance.
The extra-thick wall construction has a significantly higher strength-to-weight ratio than conventional cases making a Peli™ case not only strong but also relatively light.
The distinctive double ribs on the surface of the case provide additional impact protection while protecting the hinges and locks.
Stainless steel pins are used for the hinges, locks and handles to prevent corrosion, and the padlock guards are also reinforced with stainless steel. This means extra strength and security against cutting and theft.
