1. 50.8 Shop
The 50.8 Shop is a new photo store that has opened just outside Brussels, in Zaventem.
In a short space of time, it has succeeded in positioning itself as one of Belgium’s ideal photo stores for professional photographers, thanks to its expertise and customer service. What’s more, they’re bilingual, so they can advise you in French or Dutch.
This new store offers renowned brands such as Hasselblad, Fujifilm, Canon, Profoto, Broncolor, Nanlux and many more.
50.8 also has two professional photo studio areas and offers a rental service for photographic equipment, available both in and out of the studio.
Tips: Thanks to their Try Before You Buy program, you can rent photographic equipment and, if you decide to buy afterwards, the cost of the first day’s rental will be reimbursed.
2. Servix
Servix was a well-known and respected photo store in Belgium. It was one of the first professional photo equipment stores in our country.
However, the store recently had to close its doors after years of being a reference in the sale of photographic equipment to professionals.
With their offer of well-known brands in the photography world, such as Elinchrom, Chimera and Colorama, they had positioned themselves as true photography experts in Belgium.
3. Grobet
Grobet is a specialist photo equipment store located in Antwerp, Belgium. It offers all types of photo equipment (tripods, cameras, lenses, photo bags) for both professional and amateur photographers.
This Belgian store, which has been open for many years, offers its customers renowned brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony and the much-loved Leica brand.
Grobet also offers other services related to the world of photography, such as digitizing your photos, taking passport photos, and servicing and repairing your photo equipment.
4. Kamera Express / Photo Galerie
Kamera Express, formerly Photo Galerie, is one of Belgium’s photo store giants.
Photo Galerie was recently taken over by the Dutch chain Kamera Express, bringing new impetus with the backing of a more powerful group.
However, this acquisition has seen Photo Galerie lose some of its authenticity and history, as it now focuses on the general public, neglecting professional photographers.
Kamera Express offers a wide range of cameras, lenses, bags and accessories, as well as services such as photo printing. You can find their photo stores in different parts of Belgium, including Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Liège and other major Belgian cities.
5. Foto Coudenys
Foto Coudenys is a photo store located in the Flemish part of Belgium, in Zedelgem, between Bruges and Torhout.
Known for its expertise and vast selection of photo equipment, it caters to both amateurs and professionals alike.
The photo store also offers services for passport photos, prints and photo books, as well as occasional photography workshops.
